It should be good as long as it does not need some FixSing
They should have a china section on SD for all the paid promotions...
I would be 100% behind anything like that. For now, I usually trust fakespot for trying to determine product review reliability and quality.

the switches are good, but the build quality will probably be sub par.

No name switches but at this price for a mechanical seems like a great deal.

If you're looking for a decently long-lasting keyboard, it should say Cherry, Outemu, Kailh, or Gateron.

It's always weird that these are fixed colors (this rainbow pattern), but they market it as RGB as if they were individually addressable. I find a lot of cheap LED strips (that also aren't individually addressable RGB) do the same thing with their marketing. But in this case, I'd rather have one solid color with brightness control than the rainbow pattern with brightness control.

VictSing stuff is actually surprisingly good for the money. Is it top-notch? Not really, but usually you'd have to spend 2x as much for an equal quality item from a "name brand".
I've used a couple of keyboards and a couple of mice of theirs and no complaints.

I do HATE blue keys in general (as someone of great hearing - it's utterly annoying), and wish it was reds, but getting one of these for a family member.

The LEDs in these often can't be lit up all at once due to power constraints, hence the patterns.

You could cut ties to the IC that controls them and power them from a different USB port, but is that really worth it on a $20 keyboard?

I am really curious about what qualifies as great hearing. Is it like "I can basically hear whatever is happening the next door" or more like "I guess I need my tv volume at 1 or 2 points lower than others"? Cheers nonetheless.

Blue switches are not appropriate for an office setting, if that helps.
