Borea BR02 back onsale at Adorama.
Original price $449 onsale for $279 so a pretty good savings.

The BR02 and BR03 get great reviews and this appears to be the lowest price online.

If size isn't an issue, buy a name brand receiver at goodwill for ~$10-$20.

If you want new, Yamaha, Sony, and Insignia (Best Buy) have 2 channel stereo amplifiers with Bluetooth that go on sale for about $100 pretty regularly. There is a similar Pioneer unit that can deliver more power that goes on sale for ~$150.

If you need something small, any of the digital mini-amps (typically called t-amps) in the $50-$100 will mostly sound the same (fine for non-critical listening). Topping and SMSL tend to have slightly better quality control and provide better power supplies than the random branded ones in my experience.

I know these Triangle deals from Adorama are almost a meme at this point but these speakers are simply amazing at this price point. I have yet to be let down.

Can someone suggest a budget device to power just these 2 speakers?

Smsl sa-100 or 300. Excellent amps and will adequately power these speakers.

I paired mine with a Fosi 2.0 TB10A2. Was hesitant by the no name amazon brand but trusted reddit and other reviews and it works really well with the speakers. Also like how it has treble and bass control which is hit or miss with smaller amps.

I have the br03 and 530s they are better speakers overall than than the studios, although studios are great for nearfield as well- the triangles have a bigger fuller sound. I'd spend a litte more and get the br03 for 350 personally.

Btw OP when is the genese trio deal coming back??

I got my daughter the FOSI T20 because it also has a headphone jack to go with these speakers. It is less powerful so I could see how more power would be desirable but it's still plays pretty loud. I would still recommend the Goodwill store AV receiver over this but those tend to be huge and not practical to someone who might be at the age where they move a lot or are living in small places.

Could you get four or five and do a 5.1 for home theater ? What would be a good center channel to use?

Both are very nice entry level speakers. Different sound signature. Order both and return one.

There are a bunch of past deals for Borea speakers that are still active. This really is not a new deal. It is just newly reposted. There is a past deal for the center channel BRC1 that is still active for $200. You might also want to consider the BR03s for your front speakers.
