Title should really state this is an older generation. I know it's not for everyone, but considering I stare at screens all day and also get migraines, the newest Oasis generation's warm-light filter is amazing.

I'd highly recommend the warm-light next gen version of the Oasis. The yellow-adjustable lighting does a world of good if you're trying to read after staring at a computer screen all day.
That sounds great, but holy cow when did Kindles become as expensive as iPads?

Warm light is a non-feature for me. I find yellow toned backlighting harder to focus on. It's hard to imagine the small amount of light that a Kindle throws out woulld really effect your diurnal cycle in a meaningful way.

I have a Kobo Aura One or whichever model it was that introduced the idea of "comfort lighting" and I can say it is sort of nice. Sometimes I wake up in the night and can't get back to sleep for a couple hours, so I pick up my ereader, and even with the ALS on recent Kindle models the white light is just kind of hard to look at when the rest of the room is dark. The sort of red-orange color of the Kobo was always much easier to look at in the dark. Not sure if it made me able to fall back asleep any faster, but it did make my eyes hurt less.

How good is this for reading manga?
It is ok. Better than reading in a 6 inch device. What you need is a 7.8" or 8" device if you want to read a lot of manga.

but warm light isn't that much of an upgrade for thebove 50% increase in price.
also, you need to consider you can get a larger link product(10" warm light) for around $400
