No controller support? This is a shooter without controller support? Thanks for pointing that out - seems like a deal killer for me.
Choosing to use a controller on PC for a shooter puts you in the tiniest of minorities.

So? That's my preference.

Once upon a time perhaps, but that has not been the case for quite some time. Console makers don't make their controllers PC compatible for no reason after all. I played many a game with WASD and mouse, but I much prefer a single player experience with a controller. I understand the keyboard and mouse preference for competitive play; otherwise, it's a matter of personal preference in my eyes.

There is a Pax Payne 3 and I thought it was pretty damned good myself. I want to think that we'll see a Max Payne 4 eventually; maybe when Rockstar finishes GTA 6, they'll consider revisiting this IP.
Dumb question, what does IP mean?

Ah, never would've guessed. But yes, imagine Rockstar make this. Buy with them taking as long as they do to make a game, their plate seems to be full at the moment

Controller support pre Xbox 360 was expensive and subpar. Don't miss out on a great game for an anachronistic standard.

I bought Max Payne 1 & 2 full price on release day. Worth every penny, but then again you have to appreciate how cutting edge it was for the time.

I really don't like using the keyboard for most of these type of shooter games. It's tedious and my brain is used to Halo-like shooters and 360-like controllers. I don't game a lot, especially in recent years. In general, I just want to sit down and blow something up for a few minutes, and relax. I read somewhere that you can use third-party mapping software to possibly enable controller use in this game, but not sure I want to spend the time fiddling with that.

I trust you and others, it sounds like a great game. Maybe they'll eventually add controller support. Meanwhile, I have about 200+ free games, many good, that are just sitting in the queue. I'll never get to most of them.

You can configure a steam or xbox type controller for it.

Last time I bought a game on Gamivo, it caused my Nintendo account to be banned because the game was charged back by the person selling it to their credit card. Had to appeal the ban and jump through all sorts of hoops. Won't buy anything else from them.

Being pedantic - Max Payne 2 was made by Remedy, Max Payne 3 was made by Rockstar. Remedy has gone off and made some modern third person shooters (Alan Wake, Quantum Break, Control) and personally I think they're really good. They are drawing from different inspirations though, less the Hong Kong action movie style.
