Being pedantic - Max Payne 2 was made by Remedy, Max Payne 3 was made by Rockstar. Remedy has gone off and made some modern third person shooters (Alan Wake, Quantum Break, Control) and personally I think they're really good. They are drawing from different inspirations though, less the Hong Kong action movie style.
That's a good point; I'm a fan of the last two shooters from Remedy, and would trust them (again) with this property. Now that you bring it up, I guess I don't know who owns the rights for Max Payne; I assumed it was Rockstar since they last touched it.

I guess another thing to make me feel old is to remember the days when it was accepted knowledge that you can't play a shooter with a controller.

Last time I bought a game on Gamivo, it caused my Nintendo account to be banned because the game was charged back by the person selling it to their credit card. Had to appeal the ban and jump through all sorts of hoops. Won't buy anything else from them.
damn... I wonder if steam would ban me for this?=initial

So random games on key sites are front page material now? In that case, I've got about a thousand games to post.

I loved Max Payne 3 and was blown away by the setting. I may have to pick this up after I finish RAGE 2. The praise from the thread is pretty convincing.

If selecting payment method of Visa or Amex, the site is trying to add a $0.70 service fee.

If this was $20 it would still be worth it.

Their search engine is fubared, and even browsing fails after a few pages and goes back to the home page. Thanks for the link, but the site has issues.

Keep going for that secret ending. Also, if it hasn't been said yet, the Matrix Mod was stellar! Makes the game a lot easier so best saved for replays.
