is the flip top.. a table? what is it?
It's a work support, similar to roller supports used with saws.

The following thread gives examples and pics:

I was looking to buy this exactly for that reason. I started browsing the comments to see if there was any mentions pertaining to the build quality & or sturdiness of the item. I never would've expected seeing a comment that approves its use for the exact thing I was contemplating using it for, a racesim wheelstand for my g29.

thanks for taking the time to give people a heads up!
No problem Smilie

Check out these pics for more details on how it looks like. You may need some light tweaking based on your needs, but overall should be fine in my opinion. Good luck!

This Tile saw is great, I've done many DIY projects with it.
One downside to it is....it suctions down the tile, and can be a little hard to slide the tile through. I have moderate chipping of tile, even with new blade, on the last little bit if the tile.
Ridgid makes a newer tile saw that fixes this problem.
I have no regrets buying the tile saw listed above. That being said, I've done a lot of diy tile and really want to upgrade to the newer version as these "fixes" would be convenient as I tend to keep finding tile diy projects that "need" to be done.

This place blows. Not in the ryobi ecosystem but bought a Makita to ryobi converter for the inflater from HD and then saw the blemished vacuum two weeks ago and ordered it on the 22nd...still waiting for it. Let me guess, they ran out of stock so I'm getting reamed for it.

Thanks OP! I didn't buy any of the stuff in this post, but I had some stuff in my cart that I didn't pull the trigger on yesterday. This code saved me $19 and made the purchase a no-brainer!

wow that actually turned out better than I expected. Is that 3rd pic a fanatac or another wheel that's belt drive, and u needed to attach the weight because of the extra torque & power of those wheels?

thanks again for the info!
