Never heard of this brand but looks solid. I don't think I have any individual wrenches like these. They're all fold-out which aren't ideal for tight spaces. I guess here goes an impulse buy.

I have the ball end, but at this price I had to by these too, for my inside tool box. LOL
You will be happy with their quality.

This deal seems to be a good price for a basic set. For anyone willing to spend $10 more I like this set set. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

For that extra $10 you get the following: more allen/hex wrenches, all allen/hex wrenches have ball ends on the long side, the cases are nicer since they swivel and the labels are easier to read, you get a set of torx wrenches and a plastic tool tray for organized storage.

That's a decent home owner set, I looked into those. Ball heads are good for off camber things, but can lead to strip outs. Those are ok but Bondhus is up there with Wiha in the hex key segment, and once again US made.

This is how good Bondhus is. Yes they are just hex keys. But when the hf crummy keys start to tick you off you will be happy you got these for only 12 buck. They are longer than the typical home owner foreign made types.

This is an all-time low price (according to the Camel) on a very good brand, but wondering if I should hold out for a deal on Bondhus ball-end hex wrenches, if I were to only get one?

If it makes you feel better, I bought the ball set only a month ago. I prefer non ball unless I need a ball head (rarely) 12 bucks for almost 2lbs of US steel, hard to pass up.

Well done, you convinced me!

Anyone ever had to use the lifetime warranty at Bondhus? Are they good about honoring it?

The Bondus brand is solid, it has been around for years. They're US made and will hold up for years of use unless abused. If I didn't just get a set a few weeks ago I would grab these up in a heartbeat.

TU, OP, great deal on a well-known American tool manufacturer, esp hex wrenches. That said, these make a nice back up set as I'd highly recommending owning ball ends as well. Ball ends make life a lot easier when dealing with difficult-to-access hex bolts (esp those found in a vehicle).
