This is like a plastic tarp with no breathing/cross-breeze.
It says it's breathable, but it felt like a sauna suit as soon as I put it on.
I'm one sweaty mother farker and I find it pretty breathable. I was worried about the lack of pitt zips but it's just as cool as the eddie bauer one I do have with pitt zips.

Huh, seems like a good deal and they actually have my size. Never owned anything Marmot though. I have always stuck to Northface, 5.11 and REI brands for outdoor clothes like this. Looks like the reviews were good at REI though (LINK [rei.com]).

I cant tell if this jacket has a fill or not. Is this jacket good for cooler climates or just rain?

Haha went to find size and it asks your height and weight and age and then asks what size you wear in Marmot shirts. If I had one I'd know....

I like mine. Better in the rain than in the cold. The cold seems to cut right through it (I suppose it IS breathable) unless I wear a sweater or long sleeves underneath. With proper layering it's fine. No issues in the Houston rain, though. I'm 6'4, about 220-230lbs and an XL is fine, maybe a little big.
