The "gold standard" for UV lights are the Convoy S2+ with nichia 365nm led or newer version with LG 365nm led. The Anker uses 380nm so be sure that works for your application. You can also consider a UV filter for protection and to cut back purple light.
They're bought out reviews. Send the product to customers for good reviews. I woulden't trust them.
I bought one like a year ago. It's fine to search a small area but for hunting scorpions in the yard etc you will want a wider beam.

I think if I ever shined one of these in a hotel room I'd never stay in one again. I think it's best that I don't know what's on the bedspread and carpet.

This would be better for occasional use checking stains and scorpions.

I got one from Simon. Purple convoy s2+ with the nichia 365. Boy is it nice.
I also have the sofirn for comparison. The convoy is way brighter and the beam is more of a throw then a flood. That might be because of the reflector.

I would pay more to get one with an 18650 rechargeable battery.
Is there a reason? I've been looking into a UV light to charge some glow in the dark stuff like Funkos and I see a bunch of $5 ones with 3 batteries with rechargeable versions of the same light around $15-$20.

Do UV lights take a lot of battery that a rechargeable version is worth the extra?

Hotel rooms

That was exactly what I used mines for. It showed some "stains" on my sheets so I asked them to replace the sheets, twice. Until we got a clean one without "stains".

I checked my house over on inspection. My downstairs bath is disgusting. Why in Gods name someone would touch every inch of the ceiling in awful finger prints is beyond me. The toilet SPEWS 3-4 foot everywhere. A much better haunted house than any I've ever seen. Other two baths are reasonable, gross but reasonable.

Just don't look in your bathroom.

"William Gardner has US Patent #7781751 for the use of colored glass absorption filters (and other kinds of wavelength changing absorption filters for use with UV LED battery operated devices). If someone imports, makes, uses, offers to sell, or sells filtered UV LED flashlights in the U.S., using colored glass absorption filters such as Hoya glass, Kokomo glass, or ZWB2 glass, they are infringing US Patent #7781751. "

Another example of morons in the patent office, and someone to take advantage of it.

Only brand I trust when trying to find finger prints as evidence to narrow down which type of ghost or spirit in phasmophobia.
