very tempting but I have used up my budget for stuff for the month already.
You need to pace yourself. It is only the 5th and there are 26 more days.

Op you could have waited and this set would drop to 50% off which would be where it needs to be.

Not to hijack

But I have the best wife:

TV in the bedroom, why not get the 70" vs the 65

let's get a coffee maker for the bedroom

Don't we have a small microwave to go with the coffee maker?

We already had a minifridge.

The "Master" version includes a few accessories, like a clamp.

Not worth the difference in price..

Would it be easier to put the bed in the kitchen?

For pocket hole jigs, do yourself a favor and go for Massca's jig. Exponentially better than Kregs.

Personally, I avoid Kreg products and their plastic stuff. It's an unpopular opinion, but Kreg only makes stuff that doesnt last. And when it comes to pocket hole jigs, Massca takes the title on their jigs.

They have their version currently $79.99 on their site. If you dont know, look at their products. Their quality has improved dramatically over the past few years.

Is it removable to put onto projects that you can't mount on the table ?

I'm not too sure on the M1 series. I have the M2 model, and it is removable, but it's not really designed for taking it out of the clamping mechanism.

They have a separate version that can be used freely for $20 here ... https://masscaproducts.com/produc...y-projects .... however, I never used that one. I use a cheap version for that.

What is your application? Large planks? Repairing?

I've never used pocket hole joinery in items too large to fit in the clamp. If its bigger than what I can fit, I usually do some type of mortise. I rarely use pocket hole jigs for what they are meant for. I'm not a fan of screws. Usually I use them to make a dowel joint connection with a 3/8" dowel. Having an oak with something like a sapele dowel joining it looks really good once finished. Plus it's a lot stronger than a pocket hole screw (especially the Kreg screws... their Robertson head screws are the only "stainless steel" sq heads I ever managed to cam out and give a burred edge on.)
