Are you sure this is VA? The Walmart model is VA but I recall this one is IPS. I've watched it in store and it is bright, crisp and didn't show any noticeable ghosting on fast transitions.

5.7 for movies Great !!!
What target coupons?
10%,20% and 5% (birthday).... And no tax in NH
If you want cheap with decent specs go TCL 5 series and even better 6 series. Obviously won't be 70 inch, but still cheaper than competitors.
Bottom line, there's a reason this TV is cheap.
From rtngs - so it's probably a VA but seeing this side by side in retail mode it was a much better looking TV than the other low-budget Target TVs. We've had the LG 70" from Walmart for a couple months and have no complaints.
"Note: The 43, 49, 55, 65, and 75 inch models of this TV have an IPS panel, which results in lower contrast. However, the 50, 60, and 70 inch models have a VA panel, so they should have a much better contrast ratio, much like the LG UN6950."
My neighbor has one of these cheap LG. Great viewing angles. No blacks.
LG use to make some good VA panel cheap TV. But all these new ones are IPS with horrible contrast ratios. Good for Bars but not for home.
You put my Sammy next to it you regret why you got it. Turn off the lights and the grays become very evident. That is why everyone wants OLED. deep deep inky blacks.
I don't think I've ever seen a tv that looks better during the daytime vs night.
Even OLED, I much prefer to watch at night / dark room.

You can get a center mount stand in Amazon for around $30.

I would have pulled at that price. Guess I didn't make the cut for the coupon
