Customize to get the RTX 3070 over the default video card, remove intel ax wifi to get $10 off, use coupon code 5GAMER2021 to get 5% off.

April 2 delivery, better deal than the Dell's right now.

If you select 750W platinum power supply you can use 10GAMER2021 code to get the price to 1304.99 and it's the best value for money upgrade out there I think. Upgrading CPU/RAM/SSD yourself will be a lot cheaper than HP's upgrades but a good 750W platinum power supply costs easily more than the $40 extra you'd pay. Also I would add the $10 extra for the intel ax wifi card but you can remove it to get the cheapest deal.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I got the same system but the hash rate goes down to 50.2 after sometime The over locking resets to the default. What are your settings?

This is what sort worked for me on my RX5700, I am getting a consistent 52MH/S at about 110-111Watt.

Well, I jumped on the Costco RX5700 deal ($999( from a few weeks ago and my RX5700 is doing about 52 MH/s and higher sometimes, where the RTX 3070 is doing no more than 60MH/S even with some aggressive tweaking. That said, with PerksAtWork and logging as HP EPP, you can configure this one with RX5700 for about $992.74 with code "5GAMER2021". This is as close to the Costco deal as I can find. This seems to be a great deal for me since I was doing pretty well on the RX5700, but this is just me. Just my 2cents !
Is the performance of rx 5700 is same as that of after market? I assume its the non XT version?

This would be a deal at $1000 or maybe $1100, but definitely not at $1263. The Dell deal with i3 and 5700 XT for 789 was much better than this.
Which dell deal?

Unless you are stripping for the gpu and wanting lowest build price, you may want to checkout the Omen 30L desktop. This chassis has an extra front fan intake not on the 25L for much better cooling. Better base CPU, PSU....

Example 30L build (with 10gamer2021 applied)

I5 10600k 4.1Ghz 6 core *water cooled CPU

I think 3070 is worth the upgrade in this case as it will still be a lot more valuable and better at games than the 5700 once the mining craze subsides in a few months. But yes, use the 5700 upgrade to save more money if all you care is hashing.
I got the same deal and wish I bought at least two of these machines, I am surprised how good of machine it is for mining. I currently hashing at 50 how did you get it to hash at 60?

I wouldn't call four days ago long expired

But yeah, that was a much better deal than this deal is, especially if you had a $100 off $500 Amex offer you could apply towards it.

I'm confused too but I think mining pools are putting out negative prop about it because they make money on tx fees. In my opinion 1559 is going to cause a flood of new miners (as many as can get gpus) because the value of eth is going up like a rocket since there will be less eth in the market. 1559 makes eth a deflationary currency, which means the value of existing eth increases, unlike US dollar which is inflationary and the value decreases. Just my layman's grasp of the situation.
Not quite. In theory, 1559 is going to lower the mining reward for eth by roughly 50%. That's why miners aren't happy about it. If you are thinking about buying a bunch of gpus and building a rig right now to mine eth, you might want to think twice about it.

Highly recommend to not.... buy from HP. Horrible company, had to deal with their customer support a few times in recent months and it's horrible. Call someone, deliberately hang up on me without a proper response, and don't follow through on warranty's. Go with Dell if you choosing between the two, a much better company overall.

Honestly, no clue. I just state my case to my cc and don't want 2.8k held up for months.
I just filed a report with PayPal. I provided all the chat logs and emails. They'll contact HP and hopefully something will happen now.

Does anyone know how many open 3.5" drive bays are available on the 25L or 30L. I have 3x 3.5" drives I run in RAID for media storage.

Because prices are not going down and mining is not going away and $1200 for a brand new gaming PC is not overpriced. Not sure why you are confused.
Yes mining is not going away but these crazy prices where a $500 msrp card is selling for $1200 will change. It has happened at least twice before. This was the same exact story when Nvidia launched the 10 series and the 20 series. And guess what prices did come down and they will come down again. So like I said unless you absolutely need the computer don't buy until prices return to normal.
