Seems like pc Richards is clearancing off the hisense h8g. I ended up snagging the floor model for $380 with a 3 year warranty. No stock in my area aside from floor models. Definitely worth looking into imo.

Crap...the model I've been looking at, too. Not driving an hour to take a chance though.

So I guess the 65" model doesn't exist? Saw a listing on Best Buy, but no stock.

How did you do that? BB did price match for me, but its unavailable at my location, so they couldn't place an order.

They would either need an already placed order or an order number at check out to price adjust. Since I couldn't add the product to my cart, they couldn't do anything about it. (75" version btw)

Most stores have the 65 display model for sale. Some have it new if you live closer to one. 599

Online chat worked for 55" for $400 at bestbuy!!!

Thank you OP! Tv I bought my parents crapped out after 15 months (so out of warranty). Luckily bought with amex platinum and got a full refund on it.

That meant I could get this one for free stacked with $100 off at bestbuy.

Live in Los Angeles, I read some comments saying that Best Buy price matched the TV even if PC Richards isn't a "local competitor"? Just asked for a price match and they denied it to me just now, gonna ask another sales rep or go in person just to make sure.

I did it through online chat. They never mentioned anything about local competitor etc. There's several of them within an hour or so from me. Maybe they checked stock? Or maybe some of them don't check thoroughly and use their discretion.

I did mention that this was to replace a TV I bought my parents from best buy in November of 2019 that stopped working last month. So at 15 months it was out of warranty. Not sure if that did anything. It's also 100% true. Stupid sharp roku lol. Granted hisense now owns sharp brand lol...

How my rambling helps. Might just be trying 2 or 3 times in online chat.
