I was momentarily tempted to cancel my amazon order of the Seasonic Focus PX Platinum 750W for $137.00 and instead buy the newegg SF 750W auroraRGB Gold non-pro (v1) for $139.99. But then I remembered how Newegg shafted me on "winning" the privilege to buy their marked-up RTXs during the shuffle events last week and the moment has now passed.

Did they not let you purchase the RTX? I'm confused on how the whole shuffle thing works, particularly as I can't seem to find out when the shuffle starts, and when I find out about it via a news story, it's already over.
Newegg is a pretty crappy company IMO as they've been happy to price gouge us all hard, clear throughout the Covid era.

Shuffle selections usually start/end at around 1 to 4 pm et. Submit your items before 4 pm. Draw time 5 pm et. And Newegg will email tell you are LOSER. after 6:30pm

They have a new raffle process to buy current gen GPUs and Ryzen 5000 CPUs. There's been a number of these events recently, but they were highlighted in the news the last two weeks due to the 3060 drop.
Newegg will announce the shuffle on twitter about half an hour before the raffle starts. At that point the shuffle items will change from "out of stock" to "enter shuffle." Next, you will get 3 hours to select every possible item you want a chance at winning and submit your ticket to Newegg. After that they do a draw and winners get 3 hours to buy any item you "won". Losers sit around because they won't bother telling you you're a loser until the buying window is pretty much over. If you end up being a winner, they send you a link to securely checkout. But if you're not logged into your account and click the link it will tell you uh oh your cart is empty. Any emails to support will get a pound sand response from a clueless associate. Mostly just a huge waste of time for no reward. Or a marketing gimmick to get people to keep coming back to their website.
NewEgg seems to have gone downhill. I bought a Corsair 465x case the other day, as soon as it shipped the site showed a $50 promo code. I call them up and ask them to apply the code and credit me or whatever and they tell me they can't. I had to re-order another case with the promo code applied and ship one back to them (per their request).
It's 2021, did we really need to waste that much time and transportation fuel for that?
LOVE Phanteks. I own three of their cases myself and have built about a dozen more in various customer builds. High quality all around.
Agreed, absolutely love my Enthoo Luxe, wish i would have gotten the Enthoo 719 when i built my system last year. But my next build or maybe even next update will be in the 719 without a doubt.
Why is the $220 Corsair Crystal listed as the lead photo on this deal for Phanteks cases? None of the pictured cases are even Phanteks, there's two Corsair and a Fractal Design.

Building a PC myself and looking at the seasonic brand.Taking away your history with newegg, would you rather the seasonic or the super flower? Trying to get more opinions, thanks.
