The unlocks used require a physical device like the octoplus. They are designed to run off a computer and directly to the phone via USB.

But These devices can use a remote connect software, like team viewer, in conjunction with a USB pass through software to "mount" your phone remotely and unlock you.

I've used these services at least a dozen times, but you need to be aware that you are letting complete strangers full access to your computer while they do this.

It takes usually 10-20 minutes for the unlock from the time of initial remote connection
I assumed that the phone will be prohibited from update either new firmware or new OS (if available) or it will break the unlock? Or this is a permanent unlock?

Pretty sure it's permanent, but would be best to ask the unlocker. In the past off at all possible I always flash to a unlocked/unknown firmware after unlocking.but please look into anything prior to committing

Can you pm me with a link for someone you've used/trust to unlock these? Can't pm you for some reason with mobile...
Just search "galaxy a50 unlock service" there is a bunch.

I've used several, this guy is one of the cheaper ones I've used:

If you don't mind paying ~$4 extra, you can use TAXTIME for 20% off.

The [COUPON_95] thing doesn't seem like a valid code tbh (Probably something wrong with their system. I tested with a temporary email address and got the same code). Typically, Total Wireless 25% off code for email sign up is a long one time use code which is unique to each person.

Sounds like electronic voodoo, interesting description.

Paying 20% of the price of a phone to unlock it is silly,
Besides total wireless is awesome and they give you $80 in services for signing up when you join their free rewards program and enter the referral code of a friend within 14 days of activation. And for those that want to ran5 about a 1gb plan not being enough should know that total wireless offers othe4 plans as well as a simple $10/5gb data only upgrade plan that rolls unused data month after month until consumed and is only consumed after the plan data is used up. That makes it and exceptional value and probably the best value running on the Verizon network

Could you please advise if the delivery requires a signature? It would be more convenient for me if I don't have to sign for the delivery.

Unless they have updated the firmware, there are lots of eBay sellers that will unlock using team viewer for sub $15
There is s 99% chance that this is a newer firmware and the unlock fee is closer to $50. I got burned on this with my A50.

While they say you do, I didn't and it was left on my porch.
