I chatted with their rep on Twitter and they said that the referral is 60k for now. They do not know if it will change. They were not that knowledgeable nor helpful

Thanks gagaun. I also spoke with their rep on phone and they said the same thing. Apparently, referral sign-ups are still capped at 60k bonus points (with an additional 15k going to the person who gives out a referral), whereas 80k if you use the direct sign-up link.

Thanks, jinklasbhava for the additional info.

$0 first year annual fee was listed in the disclosures I was asked to agree to when I signed up in the branch today. So definitely waived when you sign up at the branch.

Yes, the waived fee is for in branch only, not for signing up online.

i applied with my EIN and got denied because i got the bonus with my ssn less than 4 years ago.

I went into branch today and it said annual fee waived first year as in branch special on the computer screen right as we started the application

Nice. I opened a sapphire card in early Jan 2017. Can't remember the date my points posted, but it was probably 3 months later. Going to apply again in early April, hoping I guess right.

I wouldn't guess... Chase doesn't play with their 48 month Sapphire rule.
Just go back to old statements and see which one has the sign up bonus.
Dang, we just finished spend on 60k offer. I'm thinking of canceling the card within the 30 day mark for AF refund but don't wanna get on Chases bad side.
I opened Sapphire Reserve in 2019. Have lot of points on it so instead of canceling, I downgraded it in 2020 to no-fee version.
Do I have to cancel it to sign up for new offer? How long do I have to wait?
What's the best option for points on it. I think there is something special about these points. That's why I did not cancel the card in 2020.

Much smarter to cash them out and then use a credit card for your Amazon purchases so you earn more cash back/points.
There have been occasional DP's of 1099's being mistakenly sent out, but those have been rare.
Gosh, there's a lot of wrong info in this thread. I recommend anyone here to ignore most of these posts and get your info from Doctor of Credit.

I did that months ago and mine was overnighted to me at no cost.
