Nice. I opened a sapphire card in early Jan 2017. Can't remember the date my points posted, but it was probably 3 months later. Going to apply again in early April, hoping I guess right.

I wouldn't guess... Chase doesn't play with their 48 month Sapphire rule.
Just go back to old statements and see which one has the sign up bonus.
I opened Sapphire Reserve in 2019. Have lot of points on it so instead of canceling, I downgraded it in 2020 to no-fee version.
Do I have to cancel it to sign up for new offer? How long do I have to wait?
What's the best option for points on it. I think there is something special about these points. That's why I did not cancel the card in 2020.

Capital one app will give you your number for when you don't have your wallet near by. So maybe chase will do the same
