I always get my office license from Ebay, never had an issue with it.

Not too long ago these were $36/year from BuyDig. If you have some years stacked - probably worth waiting.

Show me a deal from any company that has more value than 1 year of Microsoft Office 365. Comes with 1TB of storage, ads-free email and office applications. Some of you talk about not renting apps, but don't see the true value of the subscription.

The description is kind of misleading, it says it's a license for just 1 PC/Mac. The Office 365 license is good for one account on as many machines as you want. Or just buy a single machine license off of the grey market.

Hoping someone can help, I never quite understand this, if I have 2 computers do I need to purchase two of these? Or will I be able to use it on both of them.

Thanks!

For the students out there, most likely you have a free subscription.

as long as you login to the 2 machines with the same microsoft account, you can use the Office on them.

each account can be used on 5 machines simultaneously ie with each account you get 5 Microsoft office licenses.

Rental apps from Microsoft..lol I will pass.. Amazing how they make a few changes to apps that have been out for years, repackage and sell as if they are something new and special.

Fyi 1TB cloud storage usually sells for more than this by itself. Plus if you use the same MS account, you can install on 5 computers. That's a serious bargain at full price, let alone on sale.

If you don't have a need for Office, there are great free alternatives. IMO I'd either pay for a sub for all the great benefits OR use LibreOffice and forgo the cloud storage and all the great MS account integration inside Office

Just a quick warning for anyone running Mac OS… Office 365 says they are now only supporting the last THREE versions of the OS for any updates. So, high sierra won't work anymore and I only Mavericks, Catalina and Big Sur will get further O365 updates.

A noob question as I've never "rented" software before. After 12 months, does the cost goes up to something retail or do I get the option to renew at the same ($49/year) cost?

I've been screwed over by SiriusXM once their "discounted"
Subscription expires so thought to inquire about this.

Many thanks.
