i've been using 3 outside over the NY winter, without issue. just keep them covered from snow/rain and they've been great. i used the V2 Wyze in the same way, under eaves and in our animal shelters. I'm in the process of swapping out all my Wyze and moving to Eufy, much better device and app. not to mention the business model isn't a money grab, forcing you to pay monthly fees.
30$ is the "normal" sale price, sure. it's only been 28$ once that i've seen... during the holidays. still a great price on a very good product, with an app that works very well.

pan/tilt is a different device, for different use case. personally, putting these outside, i would expect this camera to last much better than the mechanism in the pan/tilt... so it's really not worth the extra 33% cost for something i don't need or trust to handle temperature extremes very well.
I have 3 outside not even covered. All I did was put waterproof tape over the speaker holes, memory card slot and usb plug.

They been out all winter in the rain and snow.

CCC says this has been $28 in the past. Is this really a hot price when the model with pan+tilt was $40 recently?

what's up with these one time/one device coupons.. can't buy 2 or more at this price..

Update: interestingly I am able to order it again now with coupon which did not work in the morning.

Just placed multiple separate orders and it worked!

it sucks but i suspect it to prevent people from hoarding discounted items. they rather you buy at full price. ive been buying one camera at time as the deals pop up. will get another one today.

Depending on where one plans to place the camera, the pan/tilt model may be a no-go since it actually cannot tilt down whereas this model can be tilted in any direction (manually of course). So if you plan to place a camera high up like on top of a bookshelf, the pan/tilt model will not really work as it will catch too much of the ceiling.

Don't know why youtube or reviews on the big sites don't mention this major drawback on the pan/tilt model.

Second that. I have both Wyze and Eufy; have to say Eufy is far better than Wyze in all ways (vision, detection, storage, fee etc.)

Plus, this indoor cam outperforms Eufy outdoor cams in all ways (sensitivity, night vision etc.). You have to find a power supply for it tho

Does anyone have a10' or longer power cable that they recommend for use with this camera? I plan to use it outdoors in a covered area.
