Not TC'ing, and admittedly this is a very good deal for what it is - but I always feel compelled to tell people that Gatorade has no value for athletic performance unless you are participating in very long duration endurance sport like a marathon or long distance cycling. If you are playing soccer, basketball, or football, or lifting or doing cardio at the gym, or something else of relatively short duration (less than 3 hours sustained), you are just consuming unnecessary sugar and very trivial amounts of sodium and potassium that you would have already consumed if you had a small meal beforehand.

Gatorade has benefitted for decades from very effective marketing and a delicious product. But 99% of the people who use it are just consuming tasty sugar you don't need. Thanks for reading.
There's this thing called hangovers and dehydration and it works well.

Pedialyte is a thing. You can make it yourself but this is cheap

Found the narc!! Big Grin

Honestly, though, it would be nice if they made some. Even if I'm distance running/hiking, I don't always want simple sugars and the fuzzy teeth that come with it. It's not just about avoiding calories.

Follow mix guidelines. If you have higher ratio of powder to water, you'll have a bad time

Nice never thought to check Amazon for different flavors.

Out of all the things I do while biking, Gatorade is still my favorite for 2hr+ efforts.

I added this to my s&s for 6.48! Cha-ching Smilie

Doctors have told me same thing. But it makes you wonder, why don't they just add an appropriate amount of electrolytes?

Good price and tastes good too, but for use while exercising and sweating I long ago moved on to Skratch and Liquid IV, with Liquid IV being the preferred mix. Yes, both are considerably more expensive but I think worth it. If you use Gatorade while exercising, I've found mixing it half strength to be much easier on the stomach/GI system.

propel. It's by gatorade, but 0 cal. pretty decent. don't know that they sell it in bulk like these gatorade canisters. but the packets aren't overly expensive. Generally 20 cents a serving.

12 fl oz is 90 calories, if you're burning less than that doing 3 hours of any of the activities you mentioned, you're not doing them right. Sodium and potassium are two crucial electrolytes, if you're sweating a lot, it's helpful to replenish it. Some people don't like eating before they exercise, and gatorade (or most any electrolyte drink) is a lot quicker to process. Yes, marketing is a big reason for the success. But in the end, gatorade was and is designed for athletic performance.

Can vouch for taste. I used to get powder 10-15 years ago and it tasted like butt. They've improved the powder (or just added more sugar), and it tastes as good as the pre-bottled. Only downside is fewer flavors to choose from with the powders.

I ordered one of these a week ago, and it showed up dented. They replaced it with another one for free. Now I have enough gatorade for the next twenty years
