Most decent monitors support DisplayPort nowadays unless you wanted to connect it to a TV.
Also, it's not hard to find an adapter that converts DP to HDMI since they are both digital.

If you're just after a PC with a small footprint, get the ThinkCentre Tiny instead. Either a used one on eBay ($200 or so for a Core i5-6500T) or M75q Gen 2 for around $500 new if you want more performance. These will be a little bit bigger but still very compact, especially if you put them on a vertical stand. The M75q Gen 2 is a beast with Ryzen 4000 APUs. They run very cool and quiet, easily upgradable (except for graphics of course), ports aplenty (mine has 3 DP!).

I've had two orders for the M75q Tiny Gen 2 cancelled in the last month. First, the 4650 then the 4750. Last conversation with Lenovo sales said they "went end of life", which I guess means they are no longer selling them even though you can still configure them. Torn now because I was really digging the form factor and that cpu.

Connect to a TV...now who would want to do that?
Not hard but you have to do it quickly because the PC would be unusable until you do.

Same here. Had two orders of 4750 cancelled. The Lenovo represtative told me that they are unable to get those CPUs.

Hp Elitedesk 800s can usually be found for as little as $100.

Not for quad-core. I checked eBay listings and pricing is similar - around $200 for Skylake (which is the oldest generation where the T-series CPUs used in these kinds of PCs had 4 cores in the i5). Correction: 4th gen appears to be the earliest with quad-core i5 CPUs in the 35W T lineup.

I believe the 4590 is quad core, but I was really just throwing out other SFFs that are cheap. Might be OK for someones use case.
