Klipsch 100%, but they are going to run you nearly twice as much as this deal.

I would personally rather wire in twice as many average speakers for better coverage at lower volumes than pony up the additional dough for a couple of nice ones. That stated, I have the Klipsch in my back yard, and the are amazing for their price point. They blow the Energys I had previously completely out of the water.

I have a bunch of JBL stuff around my house also. They get loud but as a general rule lack good clarity.

Seems like a pretty good deal. Looks like amazon's lowest price in the last yea was $150, which it hit somewhat regularly. Not sure if it was a third party or not. If this was in white I would be all over it, but it is for the black only. Thanks for the post though.

Not 349/-, around 150 I guess. Average speakers. Best suited for commercial audio.

I haven't heard either of these speakers but the Klipsch speakers have better specs. Klipsch kho-7 has higher sensitivity and lower frequency reproduction. They also have silk tweeters which I prefer over others.

May I ask how you power the Klipsch in your backyard? Are you using a sonos amp or another type of amp? I'm using sonos in the house, but these darn amp's are too much money. Any other ideas? Thank you!

Darn amps? You referring to typical amp/receiver or special setup? If needing an amp/receiver to drive these one can usually be found on Facebook marketplace or other local app for pretty cheap. I have Sony and Onkyo from 10-20 years ago and they both work like the day I got them. Watch out for newer Onkyo though, there are lots of discussions regarding component failures.

How do people run these in an outdoor setting? They're not amplified, so I'm guessing that you need some sort of amp and then a BT receiver of some sort in order to transmit the signal to them.

I always get about this far when I start looking at outdoor speakers - I see the price is good, the reviews are good, but then I start to wonder how I'd set the whole damn thing up and before you know it they're OOS.

I've been looking into something similar.

I want to run outdoor speakers and leave the amp in the unheated/ cooled garage.

Will use when doing yardwork or relaxing outside AND when we want to hook up an outdoor projector. So looking for something smart with inputs.

I >think< the Amazon Link amp should do the trick. I'm trying to keep everything as simple as possible but allows me to integrate a projector audio output while adding smart capability.

Anyone have any other possible solutions?
