$10 for a lot of tool. I have this tool and like it for quick things here and there. Its also great to toss in a tool bag bc of its multiple uses.

For anyone doing prolonged electrical you might be better off skipping. This one is super convenient in a pinch but bc it does not have a rebound spring in the middle, opening and closing this tool manually will take up a lot of your time. Also sometimes you don't have 2 hands to re-open it. The Klein wire stripper is $12.50 at Home Depot and its missing the front pliers and bottom crimper versus this one, but is a much better stripper and cutter for prolonged use as you can use it one handed. (It's also USA made)
100%. I'm wiring my basement as a DIY project and just picked this up yesterday. Cuts and strips wire easily but the spring loaded Klein would be better if I were doing it all day every day.
Get the wire strippers that best fit YOUR job, YOUR use and YOUR hands.

The guy doing communications or car audio might want to use a different stripper than a commercial electrician. That's why they make so many different styles.

Looks like it has a crimper too, but I'm not sure just from the picture. Can anyone confirm?

Lowes shows a list price of 11.98 vs Amazon 19.56. Wonder who sets the price Irwin or Amazon or they both come to a common agreement.

The Irwin is a little better quality steel than the Mr. Pen one. If you only use it occasionally, either one will work.

Both Amazon and Lowe's show 9.59 for me. You have lower at Lowe's?

Get the stripper with the spring. It's much faster and easier to use.

These do strip really easily, though. Everything is sharp and holes are accurately sized.
