I have the 20V XR set to, but the 12v is my go to for most jobs. Let's see if I can get them before sold out.
Maybe a dumb question: this means a 12V MAX can be used in place of a 20 V MAX battery as long as need for power isn't great...say. a flash ight? Thanks

I think he is saying he has both 20v and 12v tools. He tends use the less powerful 12v tool as most jobs do not demand the utmost power.

I have both 20v max xr and the 12v. I use the 12 more because is small and good enough for most jobs I have.
The 20v does make things go faster! I reinforce a gate in about half to a third of the time compared to the 12v.
