Just use Cash App and use the 10% Door Dash boost. Then you don't have to spend $90.

I avoid DoorDash, GrubHub, or any other company that charges a customer fees, then slaps the restaurant 20-30% on top for their "service". It's no wonder small businesses are having to shut down.

Not as good as 15% off during a recent sale on Best Buy.

If it's any consolation, none of those food delivery companies has turned a profit yet, or has figured out any way to do so.

They won't, which is good.

A lot of small businesses have also used these very platforms to explode their reach and growth. I know of businesses that reduced physical footprint and moved to delivery only and are very profitable. The platforms have enabled reach and discoverability to audiences that were otherwise unknown and employed many people who might have been jobless during the pandemic.

I agree there are negative aspects but there are positives too.

Can you explain how to do that? I've never used cash app but I always hear about it in here.

The reason a service that takes such a cut still works is because there is a need for the service they offer. If restaurants in an area came together and worked to have a common delivery service, maybe they could forego having to depend on GH or DD.

As long as that doesn't happen, and while people avoid going into restaurants (reasons: COVID, having kids at home), DD and GH are going to be relevant.
