Woot! is offering a 36 count of 100 Grand Milk Chocolate Bars for $14.99 plus FREE shipping for Amazon Prime members. These retail around $25 at your local warehouse club like Sam's Club. There is no expiration date mentioned, so hopefully these aren't at the end of their shelf life.

Just remember, they are selling these because the heat is around the corner and they know these will not sell before they melt or expire.

Don't expect these to have a expiration date that is convenient. Most likely they will "expire" within a month of purchase. So eat at least one a day! Wink Woot staff confirmed this as a warning.

Yeah ordering any sort of chocolates once weather is warm is so risky. I did it with lilys chocolate chips and I ended up with one solid piece.

Last time I ordered chocolate from them, it was the was not even recognizable as candy. However, easy refund from them. They have that down pat.

Closer to 27.7 cents per ounce. But yes, buying bite size is a better deal.

I generally don't order candy from woot anymore as I have never received any from them that was not expired, stale (like super stale, and I have low standards), or expired in less than 30 days. They refunded easy but I imagine their patience wears thin after the 5th refunded order in a row on one account.
I'm not a candy snob or anything and my roommate is a human garbage disposal but some of their candy had been so stale that it was not even pleasant to eat any longer. I didn't know that could happen. Even before the expiration date.

This is the official response from Woot! on the expiration date.

Expiration Date
This is the time of year where we help Amazon clear out the chocolate in their warehouses before the warm summer months. We don't have expiration info on them and it could differ from warehouse to warehouse anyway.

That said, Amazon has processes in place to dispose of expired goods.

As always, if there's a problem, reach out to woot customer service and they'll take care of you.

So you are taking a chance they may be close to the expiration date. But they are good with refunds if you feel the chocolate isn't acceptable.
