https://tmo.report/2021/03/tvisio...outube-tv/

Existing TVision LIVE customers can switch to YouTube TV starting today and get their first month free, followed by a $10 discount per month, making it $54.99/mo.

Existing TVision VIBE customers can switch to Philo starting today and get their first month free, followed by a $10 discount per month, making it $10/mo.

Yeah, head scratcher here when you see people talking about digital antenna. I get over 230 channels over the air free with a small antenna in my attic in Dublin, CA. I get the SF Bay Area channels and many from Santa Rosa and Monterey plus most from Sacramento. I record NOVA, Nature and science on my MCE on Windows 10 from green button (yes it still lives on! Kodi with Headend doesn't scan all my channels on SiliconDust). Funny thing is I watch nearly nothing on TV other than science stuff when I can sit down, but nothing beats a huge screen and 7.2 surround sound watching a Pluto fly by. LOL But family is starting to watch gun slinger classics and shows from 80s. I set all this up in 2008 and just have updated the silicon dust once.

Just add Disney+/Hulu for 12 dollars and way cheaper. Especially with 14TB WDs for $180 at black friday or recent $200 sales.

Sling was garbage earlier on, but they seem to have hired some developers and it's way more solid now. In my opinion is the best priced service now at around 30 bucks
When I cut the cord from AT&T Uverse a couple years ago I tried several of the services available, YTTV, DirecTV Now (now AT&T TV), Sling, and Philo. I had no issue with Sling, but in the end for my home the DVR is a huge deal, we watch very little live, we DVR everything and watch only DVR, including a lot off local channels, so YTTV really works well for us because it has unlimited DVR (including on local channels).

At first we had Philo as well, we had to for HGTV, NickJr, and A&E, but YTTV has added HGTV and NickJr as prices went up at least, and A&E is no longer important to us (RIP Live PD).

If you are happy with what one Sling package provides, it's definitely a better value, but there are clear differences between one Sling package and YTTV that some people will value (additional channels and unlimited DVR).

In a household with a dozen TV's and four active television viewers we do occasionally run into the 3 stream limit, but we can usually work around it with network specific apps (e.g., use ESPN app instead of watching ESPN on YTTV).

Does the $20 off for the first month promo stack with this deal? I'm looking at switching from my grandfathered ATT Go Big plan.

Submitted for YTTV on Friday, got the code on Sunday. My subscription ended Monday and so I cancelled it Monday. This am I still had YTTV but this afternoon it had been discontinued. I clicked on the text link that I got from TMobile and up it came with a discount code listed at the bottom on my phone. It asked me which account to use and I chose the old account that I had closed. It said okey dokey and showed the $64.99 minus the $10.00. It automatically used my PP account to pay, as the old one did. I did have to log back into a TV with the code listed. Interestingly enough, it made all the other TV's active as well without having to enter codes. I've now gotten a receipt for the $54.99 payment.

It turns out it was easy-peasy but the TMobile information could have been more clear.

Sling is now $35 each for Blue and $35 for Orange.
Yeah, guess depends on user interests, as always. And amount of users. Sling blue covers most "general interest" channels we watch, but no locals (no issue if you put an antenna and hook it up to the cable feed to the house). The Orange covers less general channels we watch, again no locals, but adds sports. . .but only one feed at a time. Household of 6 here, so would have to buy both the orange and blue @$70 to make things work, and still be missing a few channels, have to run my own antenna for locals, and limited to total 4 streams with 3 of those on Blue. For you maybe it works, for me too much work and limitations. Would rather pay $5 less for Philo and YTTV, locals, and get more DVR and channel options like the wife's WE preference, and everything else. But again my household has a wide range of interests and many users
totally understand.....i actually got the Sling thing called AirTV when I signed up....and connected an external hard drive...it works quite well for the locals....it came with an antenna and then the local channels show up in the guide and if you connect a hard drive it basically lets you DVR your locals...not bad...bit sluggish

But no big
Thanks for that info. Might try that route or similar for a month, just to come back to Suddenlink as a new customer again for internet only. . .so as to drive the online streaming etc we need to make it happen. I recently grabbed the TMO home internet, but with the nearest 4G tower a mile plus away and the nearest 5G tower 2.5 miles away, it's not quite enough yet to make it happen for home internet option for us yet. I'm hoping that Mid May, after the new shows end, and with nothing sport wise shows up, will be the perfect time to do the transition . . .lol too many kiddos that don't follow that timeframe. . .but I will try. And thanks

Apologize in advance if someone posted this already... Even though they text you the link with the discount code it won't with on your mobile device.. I spent over an hour with tech support and they had no solution.. I then emailed myself the link and opened it from a PC Chrome browser and it worked.. so make sure you open the link from PC browser and not mobile.. really poor form T-Mo you're a telecommunications company after all and the link doesn't work on mobile?!

I got the $20 off promotion, but as soon as I put in the Tvision code the price changes back to normal.

For those who didn't receive the YouTube tv and were approved. Go here http://t-mo.co/rebate

Enter your tracking ID which you should've received the day you registered for this promo. Once you find where it said approved, click where it says " click here for your reward.

I never received a text with a link, but it's in there.

Figured this will help a lot of people

Anyone sign up for Philo TV using Coupon Catus CB site? I got $8 CB plus a $3 sign up bonus, basically made my first month free plus I am splitting the service with a buddy online too. So its only $5 for each of us per month.

Hi Slickdealers,

I have a newbie question.

After I accept terms for the Youtube TV promotion and go to the "Let's register your details" page, do I enter my T-Mobile email address or my current Youtube TV email address?

I have different email addresses for my T-Mobile account and Youtube TV account.

Thanks in advance!

I'm confused about the process for existing YouTubeTV customers. My monthly subscription ends today (rebill date is tomorrow). I just cancelled YouTubeTV. I click on the link I received and either if I click try it now or sign in, it takes me to my YouTubeTV account. Do I actually have to wait for the account to end tomorrow before I can do this or am I missing something?
