God, more of this bullshit? I sure hope that Slickdeals is making a decent amount of money off of these shill posts because they're getting annoying.

THESE ARE NOT THE SAME SUNGLASSES AS YOU WOULD BUY FROM ARMANI EXCHANGE. You can see for yourself by going to the Armani website and seeing that these aren't there: https://www.armaniexchange.com/us/men/sunglasses

In fact, if you do a reverse image search on Google and include the name Armani, the only place these show up is...... Kohl's. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd...lasses.jsp

As I noted yesterday, these are at best a 3rd party licensing deal, where a 3rd party licenses out the name to slap on some cheap sunglasses and sucker people in to thinking that they're buying a $90 for only $35. https://slickdeals.net/f/14927183-callaway-polarized-sunglasses-various-styles-20-free-shipping?p=146384636#post146384636

Don't be fooled by this BS. Finding a deal on here is great, but don't get suckered by these "Armani" sunglasses.
It's staff posting these things. Eyedictive pays Slickdeals to post these "deals" which then get promoted to the Front Page regardless as to how scummy it is.
Some of the better counterfeits seem to be pretty good, but there is a difference between cheap glasses and decent quality shades. Acetate (or some of the fancy newer materials) frames are going to last a LOT longer than cheap molded plastic. Cheap polycarbonate lenses aren't as clear or scratch resistant as other materials like mineral glass or CR39.

I had a quality pair of Warby Parkers that lasted 5 years of daily wear. On the other hand, I have had several pairs of $12 sunglasses break on me in the last couple years. You get what you pay for, to an extent.

Edit: some people seem to think I'm making claims about the quality of these particular glasses, which is not true. I don't know anything about these, other than the listing says that they are acetate frames. But if you think the only difference between $10 gas station shades and those from Carrera or Ray-Ban, etc is the label on the side, then you're misinformed.

The only difference between real and counterfeit is a big corporation giving a thumbs up. I'd understand the concern if it were a car, phone, or something where quality/reliability mattered, but this is literally a piece of plastic that probably comes out of the same factory with the same blueprints and materials.

Anyways, I digress. This seems legit and a reasonable deal if you value having a designer label. Otherwise, some $10 polarized sunglasses will get the job done.

FYI, these are almost certainly molded plastic and polycarbonate.
