Just got an email with current in-store promos that are starting tomorrow 4/2/21 and the EX4S is AGAIN on sale for $799.99!!! BTW it's also has a $200 discount online but it is priced higher online vs, in store.
In my opinion, this is a GREAT bang for the buck as the bike is great and it comes with 1yr. membership. I have been totally happy with ours.

EX4S has dual bottle holder, only a single one on Sport. There is weights holder on EX4S but none on Sport.
Of course, EX4S has a screen vs no screen on walmart model. Screen could be a good thing when/if used with Echelon app, otherwise it only good to show stats.
Need different device (phone/tablet/TV) to use Peloton, iFit or other source for classes.
And finally, EX4S costs $300 more even when on this great sale, although a subscription is included.
Costco does provide good return policy if needed. Walmart gives 90 days return window, I believe.
Ride quality and comfort are similar between these two, it appears.
Both have magnetic resistance, both are operated manually via a knob. But it's digital on EX4S (requires power to be on) whereas it's mechanical on Sport.
Sport plugs in for Bluetooth only.
See YouTube reviews for side-by-side comparison. Suggest searching for TailHappyTV channel, he reviews a lot of fitness bikes.
Either one would be a good machine if used regularly. Good luck!
Someone has already laid out some of the differences and I think they did a decent job of summarizing things. There is one BIG difference between the EX4S and the Sport Connect and that is the resistance levels AREN'T comparable. The EX4S provides more resistance especially at the higher ratings. I haven't compared recently but when I did I believe it was probably a difference of around 5 on the 1-32 scale. In other words, riding the SC at 32 was comparable to riding the EX4S at 26 or 27 level. That may not mean much to a lot of riders but as you gain strength and/or you are a stronger rider the SC might end up limiting your performance.
Again, I think that they are both great bikes and either would serve most folks fine for their home gyms.

The Echelon Prime is not the same as the ex4s (ex4s is better) but this might give you a comparison between the Schwinn and an echelon. This guy has a lot of bike videos. Check him out.
Our EX4S is still humming right along in our workout room. Ours has seen fairly heavy use since we've owned it with 400+ rides equaling a few thousand miles. The bike has been rock solid for us.
In case someone asking if Walmart or Amazon echelon bikes support auto resistance… no they do not due to mechanical resistance bs digital on this 4s.
