The Cluster Saga (3 book series) [amazon.com]

Kindle Edition
by Carlos R. Tkacz (Author)

From Book 1: The 25th century. Humanity has discovered a new form of energy, the Source, derived from the very basis of life itself. Using this power to travel instantaneously through space, humans have spread through their corner of the galaxy and coalesced into two groups: the Coalition and the Inner Cluster. They are held in an uneasy economic and cultural relationship by their reliance on each other, the Coalition with the technology of the Source and the Inner Cluster with the materials to make it a usable form of energy. When rumors of conquest, political undergrounds, and alien contact threaten this balance of powers, it falls to three individuals to find the truth of the conspiracies swirling through their governments and to stave off a disastrous war. What they find in the process will change the course of humanity forever.

Sounds very interesting, Goodreads has a very few but very glowing reviews up. Reading the description had me very interested. Thanks OP,

I'll leave a review that I really liked from the first book, the void within.

*I enjoyed reading "The Void Within: The Cluster Saga Book One" by Carlos R. Tkacz which takes place in the 25th Century. Mr. Tkacz is a highly creative and brilliant writer.
Space travel can be done in an instant and humans are divided into two groups the Coalition and the Inner Cluster which are somewhat dependent on each other all of which leads into a very exciting story.

This very intelligent author writes extremely well with great dialogue, "'Hērro Meiind,' Alrit said in a lovely, chirping falsetto.

Meiind distinctly heard the melodies of bird song in her voice, no doubt another gene adaption of hers.

"Your reputation proceeds you," she continued, "and I hope you are as fair as rumor has it. I will not have my people falling victim to the ignorance of my opponent."

"'Ignorance?" Denmit entered the room, practically stomping his way through the door, "Ignorance? The only ignorance relevant to this discussion is your ignorance as to the laws of nature, as dictated by the Universe.'"

I was captured into the story by the ease of reading this dramatic, exciting and enthralling story which moves at a fast pace with massive intriguing and very dramatic events. "But we have also seen the other side of humanity brought out in war. The greed, the malice, the violence, the utter and inexcusable suffering. The raising of arms against one's own species. We have each of us saved, but we also have killed; we also have, in this way, failed to be human."

A pause. A silence more than silence, as if the vacuum of space had stolen the very air from the ship, from all the ships now listening. All hung on a thin thread ready to break.

"Today, we face our very humanity again. Today, we will seek the answer in fire and oil and blood. Today, we will sacrifice both ourselves and our enemy to the immutable forces of the universe. I ask for your loyalty. More than that, I ask for your trust. I swear to you I will not betray it."

This book was a pleasure to read with an unexpected and extremely exciting ending. Highly recommended!"*

It should be "Your reputation precedes you". :-) The "intelligent author" who "writes extremely well" needs a better editor.
