No, because that's a debit card, not a credit card.

I wonder if anybody checked/submitted a claim with plans with months paid in bulk, like Mint Mobile or Red Pocket? I'm currently on Mint and it looks I'll have to move to other T-mobile MVNO, such as Hello Mobile, if I want to use the coverage.

I've switched this over for my Tmobile bill -- braved it since almost anytime I do anything my bill triples, so hopefully that doesn't happen -- but I'm wondering how we go about proving this? I have a small army of people on my plan, if one of them needs this service, how on earth do you prove it?

How do they know if the phone is associated with your account ? I have a note 20 ultra used on t-mobile and it's showing as unknown phone. Would I be covered?

It took a little longer for me to get the claim (busy at work!). I finally just submitted all the docs and will update this forum when I have more info.

Not really. they have a limit of $600 per claim. The $1000 is the card limit per year.
https://www.mastercard.us/content...d_2019.pdf
Chase website itself states $800 per claim and $1000 per year.

Just talked to an AIG company representative. Horrible experience.

I was calling to ask her what is the process to file a claim for fixing cracked screen.
She then set a trap for me asking if the phone is working or not. I said it is working. She then said your phone is not eligible for the claim then and she had the conversation recorded.
She said in a DMV speed of tone:
Cosmetic damage (i.e. superficial abrasions or scuffs) to the Eligible Cellular Wireless Telephone or damage that does not impact the Eligible Cellular Wireless Telephone's ability to make or receive phone calls;

wtf?????? A rejection of claim before even file the claim?

I do see question asked multiple times in this group but not noticed answer.... "Does it need to be only postpaid one or prepaid like mint, visible, metro are eligible as well" . Not sure if any one know answer to it or already asked Amex customer service

I submitted a claim for a cracked screen last month and just got the reimbursement check (minus the $50 deductible) yesterday. Calling the main number to start the process was pretty simple with them taking some basic information (what happened and when) then opening a claim and sending the required paperwork and items to be submitted via email. After seeing the email I was a little confused (receipt of original phone purchase???) so I called back and got some clarification. I ended up submitting-
1. PDF of Amex bill with my name and showing Wirless bill charge
2. Wireless bill showing my name and charge**
3. Receipt of repair from Apple
4. Screenshot from website showing my phone is on the account (since I paid it up front, the phone doesn't appear on the bill)
5. Completed claim forms
**I am not the primary on the plan but have a line so needed to jump through some hoops to get a screenshot of the account showing my name and number listed with the associated account.
If you're the primary on the wireless account and platinum card I think it should be fairly straightforward.
Hope this is helpful.
