Is this item rarely go on sale? it's only 2.50 off, from 11 bucks to 8.50. And frontpage already? Isn't the brand only average or a pretty good brand?

Doesn't the iPhone 7 have a fully-metal back case? I thought iPhone 8 was the version that added wireless charging.

So, no. I don't think so.

for regular wired charging for phone, when it's 100% it will turn green meaning it's full. if you keep charging is it bad for the battery/phone? phone is a samsung note

Thanks. Going to try this with my iPhone (never tried it before) and hopefully this works with the Sonos Roam also (it should).

Looked it up... no thanks... not for a minimum $60 setup per phone/location anyway. I will keep my case, wallet, and popsocket and just use my $3.00 10' USB-A to lightning cables I have around the house and vehicles (i used with my 6s phones) to charge and still use the phone while laying in bed or watching TV.
Here's a nice alternative deal: RAVPower Magnetic Wireless Charger for iPhone 12

PSA for Samsung owners:

Samsung recently put out an update that nerfs Fast Wireless Charging when using 3rd party chargers. I have a few 10W pads from Anker and RAVpower that were fast charging my S20 with no problems for the past year. But after a system update a couple weeks ago, it now shows the message "Fast wireless charging unavailable This fast wireless charger isn't compatible with your phone, so you're charging at standard speed."

If you're rooted, you can use Battery Charge Limiter or Advanced Charging Controller. Newer Pixels phones also have adaptive charging so it charges based on your next alarm to prevent it from being at 100% all night. Apple has a similar thing. Since charging is handled by the phone, I don't think any chargers exist that can do this, but IDK.

I purchased one of these but it wouldn't charge my OnePlus 8 Pro through my case and pop socket. Are there any out there that will and also stop charging at 100%? I'm willing to play more for those features.

The phone automatically stops charging at 100%... PopSockets makes a special wireless charger to fit around the PopSocket. Otherwise you have to buy the removable kind.

Perfect review as this has been an issue for me with the same phone and case. Thank you.
