Hard pass bruh but maybe good for your kid doing school at home -- I am waiting on 2k 4k
This is oddly aggressive.

For what it is, there are a ton of people that this is a great deal for. Not everyone is a gamer or a video editor and the people that are, know exactly what they want.

How is it aggressive?

1080p @ 27" is a hard pass.

Costco has MSI and LG monitors on sale right now.

MSI Optix 27" Class FHD IPS Gaming Monitor

https://www.costco.com/msi-optix-...88976.html
Here's the LG link: https://www.costco.com/lg-27%22-c...62272.html

$109 is a great price, but only has HDMI and VGA inputs. I'd spend the extra money to get DP.

I would not even consider it as an "office monitor" at this price at 1920x1080. I got a Lenovo 2k monitor for the same price not too long ago. Granted I am not interested in refresh rates or viewing angles because I will use it for software development where screen real estate is more important.

sorry but if you have an adult size desk that's 30"+ deep then 27" 1080 is much better than 24" 1080. when you move out of your moms house maybe you can upgrade that ikea table of yours
Many adults with spouses and children don't want a neck beard battle station in their home.

I'm wanting to get my mom a new monitor for work, she's currently using a 720p 32" tv... Is this a good deal for what it is (my mom is like 65, so take into account her non-prime eyesight)? She's a Spanish Professor/Dept Chair, so mostly just email and word docs

Just wondering if I should go ahead and jump on it or wait for a better deal?

TIA

Edit: Nvm, bought it... tu and rep op! looks like a good deal from searching past deals (not best, but still good)

A rookie question: I have a Dell P2719HC which I am connecting to my laptop using USB-C, can I connect this as a second monitor using a DP to HDMI port from the 2719?
