Only con listed besides price (which this Slickdeal negates) is " Sluggish smart features. While Android TV itself isn't bad, and sluggishness is common with other brands, Sony TVs are prone to having common slowdowns while using their features. "

Motion handling. Sony, as a TV company, is a pioneer of motion features, and it shows. They usually have the best interpolation, and most of their TVs have an image flicker feature to enhance motion clarity.
Great upscaling. Sony TVs, even the cheaper models, do better than average when it comes to upscaling lower-resolution content.
Great color accuracy. Most Sony TVs we've tested have great out-of-the-box color accuracy. You likely won't need to get your Sony TV calibrated to enjoy the best viewing experience."

They're bested in quality & price by the likes of Hisense and TCL.
The only Sony TVs worth purchasing are top-tier. (900 series & OLED)

Mid-tier Sony TVs picture quality was 90%~95% as good as upper-tier models but without all the bells & whistles
I have 2 LG OLEDs, 2 LG LEDs, 4 Sony's, and 2 Samsungs.
My go to tv is X850F for every use: cable tv, gaming and streaming video and audio (love the picture off function when streaming music). GF likes the LG web os with magic remote and kids use the Samsung 42"s for console gaming.
All I stated was a simple fact to indicate that Sony is indeed still around. In case you need to be reminded, this is SD - feel free to give your TED Talk on stock markets elsewhere. 🤡
Is this Samsung at Costco better? It has a 3 year warranty. This Sony only has a 1 year.
