Unless you're buying for your kid or something, just buy a good headset and then purchase a dedicated mic that either attaches or is independently mounted. All gaming headsets are garbage in both. You'll thank me later.
Adding observations of another Vankyo product. Maybe it'll help someone.
I picked up a pair of Vankyo headphones recently. (The C751)
Build is decent. Sound is clear, but exhausting: good separation, highs, and lows, but no mids to speak of, and it makes the sound almost mechanical: it's almost like the music assaults you.
If these are similar, they'll be fine for the price and purpose.
I literally did this one, got a card, and now repeatedly get emails for new stuff to get for free + get cards back. I usually only bite if its something i wanted anyway.
Is it a scam?
Depends on who you ask. It is 100% against Amazon's rules for sellers, so yes.
If that is true, of course I am going to buy it and give it 5 stars. Why not?
Because then you're part of the problem.
Once they give out a bunch of these gift cards and secure the number of 5 star reviews that they want, they can make the products even worse than they already are, jack up the prices, and essentially scam people who buy their garbage product thinking it's good, since they will be highly ranked on Amazon.
They count on good old fashioned greed, or at least people being naive enough to not realize what's going on.
But hey, you made a profit of $8 right? So who cares if a few thousand people after you get screwed.
Bought two of these exact same models last year for kids to do virtual learning at home. They work flawlessly and my kids have no problem wearing them for hours on end. In addition, they held up to light abuse without a single issue reported. I paid twice as much last year, but going to buy another pair now with this discount just for me.
Bought these last year since I started playing coop more often with my friends, they said it sounded much better than my laptop mic (obviously). Sound quality didn't blew me away, don't care for the led lights, comfortable for the most part, aesthetically it's ok, nicer build than I thought, but I was buying a $30 headset at the time, my expectations weren't high. I think it's worth the $12+, and if I didn't have a backup, I would buy these again.
Amazon makes it so easy to return things it's not a scam I've used the return system numerous of times it's easy if it's Amazon
That's great until you make the naughty list. I'm not willing to do that on this trash product that I can't trust the shill reviews on Amazon or comments here.
I bought two pairs of wireless headphones, same brand, for Christmas and I use one pair. My son and I both like the sound quality. Only time will tell for quality. But for $13... I'm in based on my previous purchase. Not a shill, just a middle aged dude.
My brother in law and I both bought these headphones over a year ago. They are pretty nice, I wouldn't say amazing, for the money. Sound is adequate for most gaming and they have worked with multiple PCs/Mac's/gaming consoles (I recall the switch for sure).

Needed a backup for emergencies!

For you though, gravy.
