They are like having a smooth chocolate milk shake, but just a tad bit thicker then normal chocolate milk and super smooth.

I bought the chocolate last deal and yeah it's pretty bad. I'm not a picky person but this stuff tastes like chemicals.

I have to agree. Very thick like sour milk with a chemical taste. I couldn't drink it and I am not picky. This was the chocolate, I haven't tried vanilla.

I buy them for travel, but if I'm at home almost any powder is much better for half the serving price. But they are convenient.

Just bought a 4 pack of this last night and tried for the first time. Tastes lousy. I've found the ensure max protein vanilla to be the best but it's 2 bucks more for a 4 pack.

I wouldn't get drinks like these that can spoil off Amazon any more, there are lots of stories about drinks that are leaking, bulging, rancid, etc. because they are not stored in good conditions or sit too long before they are sold.

no issues with mine, tastes fine, like a sweetened milk with vanilla. slightly thick like light eggnog. no issues with expiry, rancidness, or chemical taste

the muscle milk pro series "go bananas" is my top pick, but it's so expensive, typically $3.50-4 a bottle, sometimes as low as $1.80

These taste real nasty! It's probably sold from Amazon for a discounted rate because they can't sell in the stores. I would say it's like a defected item that's been sitting outside for a long period of time and got ruined but with all the chemicals they put it this are trying to preserve this shake with the rancid taste. I'm surprised they didn't sell this on woot instead!

I can't hang with anything with sucralose. The taste is bad and then aftertaste sticks around for hours. But many people are used to it. I've bought a Muscle Milk at a convenient store once and yeah, was nasty to me -- never again. But probably enough people who are ok with the taste.
