Will that have warranty? Or is it like the "international version" on Amazon where you don't have a US warranty with it?

Strange that SD would promote this seller. Very low ratings number and poor satisfaction rate to boot.

One review says they received the international version of these headphones which carry no warranty. That would be a deal-breaker for sure in my opinion. they never got an answer as to if the seller would charge them a restock fee (which another review said they did for defective unit claimed as not so by seller).

Do your own research on the reviews and decide if it is worth the gamble here.

Someone in their seller reviews said they got the international version of these. I would not risk it. Plus potential restock fee.

Wait for secondipity refurbs, they are Sony's premier refurbisher and the pair I got has been going strong with 4-8 hour use daily for about a year and a half now. Didn't have the same luck with the XM4s, ended up returning them.

I don't believe Newegg sells the US versions at all.

Don't get this. Get the Razer Opus on ebay for $85. It gets a superior direct comparison score vs the XM3 on rtings.

I don't understand the point of automatically adjusting the amount of noise canceling. Someone fill me in? If I have it on, I want it on all the time.

The noise canceling is dialed up or down depending on your environment. For example, if your GPS location & ambient noise indicates you're walking on the streets instead of in a building, it will let more outside noise through so you don't get hit by a car.

I've used it on my commute and it knows to blast the NC on the bus and dial it back when I start walking. Nifty idea, but it's not always perfect at detecting the right settings in practice.

ANC is automatically adjusting all the time. And if it wasn't, it wouldn't be able to exist.

Funny how they ban certain brands and then promote inferior products with higher prices too.
