5$ isn't really that great for this. Luke warm maybe if you really are in need of a can to revitalize your rubber components.. I just looked online and autozone has one for 9$ with the garbo stop leak + r134a

But seriously for most people who just need a recharge. Go to your nearest autozone or o reilly's and buy a can of their straight r134. Don't spend 20-30$ on those dumb cans with garbage additives and built in half ass gauges. 6$ gets your 12 oz of pure r134a, normal price; my stores usually sell a smaller 6oz for a little more than 3$.

Other auto shops may work too, but what you are looking for is an auto store that lets you borrow their AC recharge tool rental... it's free of charge, just a deposit. Buy a small can and do the recharge in the parking lot... takes no more than 10 mins to do it properly. you can even hook the gauge up first to see how low you are before you buy the can...

Watch a couple youtube videos before you go. Seriously 15 minutes of tutorials on 2x playback and you're good to know the basics.
Agreed. I thought those extra chemical to seal can harm your ac system even more and cost more than to replace the part.

Same here, didn't know the $12 perk I had required at least $50 so I bought 2 cans and used one of my $5 ones.

This is not a bad deal, but I hate that you have to use their special hose to connect to the can. I prefer the regular reseal cans where you can put your own hose on it.

It's a proprietary hose connection? Man that's a big bummer.

Yeah, it's proprietary (if you look at the blue top). The regular cans let you attach a hose on top where they have their blue cap

Just picked up a few and the can connection does fit a regular hose.

Are you using hose that goes on a reseal can or regular can?

I'm using the regular hose that taps into the top of the old regular cans. This EZ chill can has plastic threads that fit the hose and with a push button on top to disperse whatever amount you want
