I like that it's got 3 usb-a ports and a usb-c port, and the rj45 is important to me. It looks good too.
I have the HP from costco 2 years ago with the i5-1035g4 and the fan is Loud! My wife has a MS Surface book v3 with the 1065-g7 and it's equally loud. All these thin laptops are annoyingly loud. I am guessing by the looks of this laptop it's gonna be loud too. I hate apple but I am envious of that M1 chip. Hopefully we will see something similar to the M1 for PCs soon.

Triple-check the specs on all Aspires though, as there was an Aspire 5 for $500 at Microcenter with similar specs recently that had a "ComfyView" TN screen (i.e. objectively looks like crap compared to IPS). This one explicitly says IPS though, so two thumbs up.

Since the memory controller is in the CPU, that upgradeable slot will work with a 32GB DIMM. It may "officially" be validated/tested with a 16, but the 32 should work too for a total of 32+4=36GB. For anyone who cares.
