Company and product reviews point to this being a solid product for the price in my opinion. It's exactly what I needed and way cheaper than ones with comparable specs. Says the PD port is 30 watts max and the USB-A QC port is 30w also. There is a $4 coupon you have to click on the product page bringing the price from $12.99 to $8.99.

Fakespot gives it an F for the reviews. Not saying it's a bad product, but hard to trust it based on the 120 most likely false reviews. For $9 though I guess you're not out much if it doesn't work.

Oh well, I've been known to gamble from time to time. Not cancelling now for the price..I can always return it if it's that bad. Fakespot doesn't look all that reliable nowadays too. Thanks.

I'm wondering myself. Every review I've seen for Fakespot says they are not reliable and that Reviewmeta is the way to go.

Seems like Reviewmeta don't have Chrome extension unlike Fakespot.

Edit: Sorry they do have an extension . My bad!!!

Just a warning: Other car chargers advertising 12/24V input and 20V PD output will only output 20V when the input is 24V. 12V input tops out at 12V output. Some laptops are capable of charging from 12V, but it's rare. I don't know about this specific one's capabilities.

I would take fakespot reviews was the same skepticism as amazon reviews. Just dig through some of the fakespot reviews on certain products and it's obvious. Reviewmeta is better. In reality though, it's Amazon. If the product is junk, just return it.

Besides voltage to regulate 60W of power would produce a decent amount of heat. Considering it's size I wouldn't trust running anything above 20W off of it for prolonged times without "supervision".

You may be right, but I think you are being a little conservative about 20W max considering there is about 50 other chargers out there (Including SDs favorite goto brand Aukey) that look exactly like this one and put out 36W. For my needs, all I am expecting out of it is to charge my iPhone (20w) and still have enough power left over to charge a second phone or my AirPods at a decent rate of speed. I don't think running around 36W is an unrealistic expectation although I'd be hesitant to plug a laptop into a car charger period.

I think AlexS2465 has a point about 20W. Remember how the regular wall charger gets warm when charging the phone? That's usually 5W (5V at 1A) before ASUS's dynamic voltage charging and QC and PD. 20W would be 4 times that heat not accounting efficiency lost as temperature increased and at higher output. Another thing to look at is the form factor. This charger has a slim design with minimum exposure outside of the port. That cannot be good for heat dissipation.

Gotcha. Just got it today actually. Only used the USB-A port so far and there is no way in hell that thing can put out 30W because it's slower than my Anker 24W (12Wx2) car charger. It seems more in line with the charge speed of my 7.5W Qi charger i have in the house.

Seems to be on a lightning deal now, so it comes up to $4.49 now. But those fake reviews do concern me.
