It went on sale early this morning but sold out right away. It will probably come back in stock at some point but no guarantee. Good price for a decent quality gazebo.

Would Costco prime match if I purchased this last year?

I almost bit, but I noticed that the actual footprint of this gazebo (inside the posts) is a lot smaller than the 12'x16' dimensions. The Base Dimensions (inside of post): 9' 8 ½" x 13' 2 ½".

Out of Stock on their website for me. Not sure if its location based since they include shipping.

Price adjustment only within 30 days of purchase. You could try to talk to someone and mention you want to return it to rebuy at lower price... See if they bite and just adjust for you...

That is a pretty big difference.

Most of these pre-fab gazebos have a smaller footprint (inside of posts) than their listed dimensions, but this one is a lot smaller due to the width of the posts and the outside post dimensions are smaller then most 12'x16' gazebos as well. Base Dimensions (outside of post): 10' 10 3/8" x 14' 10 3/8.

How these work in Hail....couldn't see any reviews online.

I never used Metal roof before, wonder - how it works with mother nature compared to shingles.

It burns me to no end that my local municipality requires plans for installing one of these over 10x10. Takes a $2k gazebo and turns it into $5k after you factor in all the paperwork.

That's only in the four corners where the actual posts are. You'll have more room on each of the sides. I have this gazebo in the smaller size (I wish the larger one was available when I bought it) and love it. The 12x12 comfortably fits a large sofa and 4 large chairs. It is a beast to assemble though, so you either need 4 strong people or to hire professionals (particularly to get the roof in place, the rest of the assembly isn't too bad).

$5k, really???? Man, I built a 600 square foot deck on my house and the permit only cost a couple hundred. It was a PIA to draw up and submit the proper plans for approval (took a few tries), but I guess I shouldn't complain considering the permit cost wasn't that outrageous.
