Lowe's has all their FRAM oil filters on sale for $3.98. This is the normal price for some. I was able to get the PH3786 that's normally $11.70 for $3.98.
Honestly, Im not a fan of the orange can but there is absolutely zero proof that they will cause damage to your engine. zero, nada..
Haha i must have missed some people not agreeing with my comment. Look its all context. An oil filter will not cause damage to your engine much like a furnace filter will not cause damage to your filter. But like a cheap furnace filter allows more air particulate into the furnace, this thing will break down faster and allow larger particulate throughout the oil system. These have been proven time over time to be one of the worst oil filters money can buy.

There is a good video on youtube of a guy opening up all the leading oil filters. The Walmart brand came out on top, Fram was dead last.
Got a link? I'd like to see it.
I've used Fram for probably 25 years and never had a problem in any of my cars... but not saying I wouldn't switch brands if I knew a better one to get, I've never really researched them. I've always used Fram filter and Mobil 1 oil.
