That's also a very good deal imo. Honestly, I think both may not be intentional by Amazon, so I doubt these deals will last.

The Sony 85" 90ch at Costco for a little more is a better deal IMO.

Edit: nm missed the 400 credit. Pretty sweet deal.

The savings seem inflated. This is the Q7 series, not the Q8, right?
The 85" Q8T goes for ~$3200.

No, but the native contrast on this is pretty great. You won't really miss local dimming here.

The big downside is this TV is extremely dim. You won't really notice any HDR.

As far as brightness, RTINGs used to say this was brighter than the Q60T but now it doesn't.....

EDIT: I stand corrected. I was wrong.

Samsung dumb downed their models this year. so the q70 is actually a q60 in terms of quality from previous years. the 80 and 90 is the same

Great deal. Wish the HDR brightness was higher. If so, I'd pull the trigger. I would skip the Q80T because the contrast is about half of the Q70T but the Q80T HDR brightness is much higher. Such a shame because the previous year's model the Q70R had good contrast and HDR brightness.

Would this be good for a room that gets lots of natural light?
