Seems useless. They already come with a bag with handles. This would only be useful if you could use it when the stove was still hot but fire out

For my needs, picking the thing up to dump the ash is annoying. $20 to solve a head ache? I'm in.

Almost purchased a Solo Stove over the weekend. If you have one, how is it?

I have the Yukon one and I loooooooove it. I stuff so much crap into it to burn. I live in a really wooded area and we cut down a bunch of samplings/smaller trees a couple weeks ago. Also cut my Christmas three from three years ago up in three pieces and burned it in sections. Was finally glad to get rid of the Christmas dead tree chilling in my yard laugh out loud Was a lot less smoky than other firepits I've used.

I'd recommend getting a cover for it, either their brand or another. If the ashes get wet they almost seem to turn to cement and if it rains before you get a chance to dump it, it's a pita.

And here I thought they will announce some kind of cooking attachment like rotisserie or grates. Would be nice to be able to cook over it... oh well.

I would think the black plastic ends would melt over uses as they touch the hot wall

How's the heat around the fire pit? I keep reading that the heat goes straight up and not around. There's a video with a guy using one and he says he won't use it during the winter cause it doesn't have much radiant heat.

From the site:

After a fire, how long do I have to wait to use my Solo Stove Handle?
Solo Stove Handle is to be used when your fire pit is completely cool.

Well for me, I thought it got really really hot. But I'm kind of a weenie about heat.

Same with me, I thought it kept pretty warm around the pit.
