Is this the new 2021 release? Has anyone got this setup in Homebridge and have any feedback on how it runs?

We have had good results from our Ring products (doorbell and spotlight cam) so this seems like a good deal if in the market for a very basic doorbell cam. The $3/month subscription per device is an added cost, but having access to recordings is the main use of these cams for us so we pay it. From what I remember, you can still get alerted and see live video without the subscription though for at least the more advanced cams that we have.

Sorry but checkout says it will be shipped but I thought for these treasure truck deals, don't you have to actually go to the trucks location to pick up the item?

Was just wondering the same thing haha

I'm also confused why it's saying 20% off? Aren't these like $300?

Q:How does the ring video doorbell wired compare to the ring doorbell pro?

Answer this question
A: Hello,

The Ring Video Doorbell Wired requires you to bypass the existing doorbell chime in your home. This means that after installation, your home doorbell system will not sound when the device's button is pressed. If you wish to hear audio alerts in your home, you can pair your Video Doorbell Wired with a Ring Chime or compatible Alexa device. This new doorbell is compatible with a 2.4 GHz network and features Advanced Motion Detection with Customizable Motion Zones.

The Ring Video Doorbell Pro once wired will sound compatible doorbell systems when the button is pressed. This doorbell offers dual-band wifi and Advanced Motion Detection with Customizable Motion Zones.

yes, hook up to your friends/neighbor ring with the annual unlimited subscription then have them share back your camera back to your email

We have this new version, it replaced a 5 yr old Ring Doorbell Pro. This does not pick up as much movement/motion as our old pro. I've tried adjusting everything and spent an hour in the phone with Ring, even got a new one because I though it was defective. Turns out it's just not as sensitive. It picks up any movement with if about 5-10 ft. (Our porch area), but nothing on the sidewalk.

My brother already set up a ring doorbell at his home, how do I go about connecting his to my account so I can share it with him? Does he need to delete his doorbell and then I go set it up under my account and then share with him?

I am, I have the plus subscription, with like 7 cameras. So I have to physically go over to his place and set up that doorbell as a new device under my account? No other easier ways?

That's the Pro 2 model ($250). This is the regular wired doorbell with retails for $60.
