This is an updated version of previous Front Page deal.
Toyota is running a huge $20,000 discount on bland new Mirai, but at the same time local dealers are marking up the price from 2000 ~ 5000 depend on who (which dealer) you deal with
https://www.buyatoyota.com/socal/...apr_331250
The MSRP of the XLE model with the Technology Option is around $52,594.
From here you will get
1. $20,000 - Cash Toyota Discount
2. $8,000 Federal Tax Credit (more info)
3. $4,500 CA Tax Credit
4. $15,000 Fuel Card valid for up to 6 years
5. $0 ~ 5,000 Dealer mark up due to high demand
6. 0% Interest for up to 72 months
7. $400 worth Gift card or other gifts, etc.
The actual calculation will be like this
52,594 - 20,000 (Toyota Discount) + 2,000 (dealer mark up) + 4,500 (tax) + 800 (DMV fees, etc.) = 39,894 (Out the door) price
If you get 72 months finance, it will be $554.09 per month
From this price, you can get Item 2, 3, 4, 7 later so
39,894 - 8,000 - 4,500 - 15,000 - 400 = $11,994
The actual price of the car can be consider only $12,394

For the item 2, 3 you can check the original post
For the item 7. Please read next post to see more details.
The dealer will try to sell you additional warranty, etc. You can opt out those or add those options later.
This $20k off deal was going to expire on 3.31.21 but it was extended to until 05.03.21. We don't know if this will be extended again. I am guessing it might with less discount such as $15k.

1) Door edge protectors:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JMM6...b_ap_
2) Blind spot mirrors (there are lots of different ones so you will have to pick the type to your liking):
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0874C9...UTF8&
3) Vent cell phone magnet holder. I like these because you can move and reuse them vs other sticker types are more permanent:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08774W...b_ap_
4) Back seat kick mat organizers since the back doesn't have much space, unlike a minivan or Tesla Y, my toddlers kick the back, etc. There are lots of different types and prices varies.

I bought this key cover since this is from US seller and the price was only $9
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Key-...fresh=true
Also the above 1) door edge
For the Blind Spot Mirror,
I tried those adjustable one but I don't like as those sometime moved without notice.
I found
https://www.autozone.co
was most functional (small but great coverage), but I don't like the black edge around. Anyone have good alternate suggestion?

I wish I could be happy but I just didn't feel the way how "Tustin Toyota" treated me was not nice, nor professional.
I will update about it next week when I little bit more calm down.
What I can say is they didn't honor the attached quote that they gave me back in March 27, 2021.
Please expect they will add $2k ~ 5k markup on MSRP. It will be very hard to see that in your dealer quote as you can see in the attached Toyota of Orange quote just shows "54,529" on the vehicle Price.

How much did you end up paying for it?

On your Tustin quote, how come your rebate offer was 21k and not 20k?
Did the dealer add in an extra 1k?

Were you able to get below MSRP at Longo?
Did the dealer add in an extra 1k?
I think that's last month quote when they still had 1k for Toyota owners rebate.
Lastly I purchase the extended service and Toyota warranty from an east coast dealer for a fraction of the amount dealers are charging in CA.
Yes, can you send me the sale rep info?
Wow, I'm a little scare about Tustin Toyota now. I would rather drive 30 miles to Longo then going Tustin Toyota.
