As Many Reviews As Possible had a very thorough review of this shoe. Here's what he says about sizing: " For most people, just stick with your normal size and you'll be fine. The Metcon Sport's will accommodate wide feet well, so don't worry about having to size up. My normal size of 10 fits me right on the money, a little bit of wiggle room in the toebox but I wouldn't size down personally. Flat footers will also rejoice in the fact that the Sports don't have any real arch support."

I bought the black Metcons during the last sale, and despite being fairly heavy compared to the typical crosstrainers I wear, they are great lifting shoes. For days when I will be exclusively lifting I will be wearing them. They're stable, comfy, and I've even had a couple compliments. I wear a 10, and it's true to size. Now for any other purpose, or mixed cardio-days I'll be wearing crosstrainers or running shoes.

Are you referring to the free x metcon 2? Or the first one? I liked the first one a lot but the 2's were really bad. Super squeaky and would dig into the back of your ankle and cause blistering. At least that's my experience with them. I may have to try these ones out though.

edit: just realized I misread yours. thought you meant 2 for 70 like 35 ea but you just meant 2 as in 2nd model for 70 lol whoops.

No show strings is the large one. I use these for weightlifting. My other Metcons as well. Honestly not real arch support but that works for lifting
