What do you mean broke? As in it was dropped, or hardware failure.

Hardware failure

I was trying to find display information but I couldn't seem to find any info about this 15 inch 120hz. Anyone else know about it? Interested in the color accuracy.

According to this website and a few other, I was able to find out it is 100% SRGB, not specific color gamut info though. https://www.pcgamer.com/our-favor...ffordable/

Not this model. There is a SKU with a 4K OLED touch screen, but you'll be doubling the price if you can find it for the 2020 year models.

The 4k OLED screen model is available for $1800 on there.

Looking through the models, the best deal here is for the 2070 Max-Q model. The 2060 is the worst deal, as it's only like $28 less with the rest of the specs being the same as the 2070.

The 1660 TI model isn't badly priced for what you're getting, but definitely skip that 2060 model and go to the 2070 Max-Q if you want more horsepower.

That said, I'm not a big fan of Razor laptops due to their price premium, but they look nice.

These laptops are built premium but anyone thinking of using Razor to game for extended periods of time.... need to look at reviews. One of the worst companies in terms of handling warranties. And failure rates doesn't matter as much as how they handle warranty.

Razer didn't engineer something magical that others couldn't figure out. There's a reason gaming laptops, are as heavy and as big as they are. Buy maybe with a credit card that extends warranty or even squaretrade perhaps.

1660 ti is too weak for what I wanna do at this price point. Meh... Unless we have stackable deals or you need a Razer brand product. the 2070 at 1500 ain't too bad, use Amazon credit card get 5% back... but if you wait till prime day, probably better deals

I bought a second hand Razer online within the last year or so... Has a 1070 MaxQ. Overall, pretty disappointed with it. It turns off sometimes, like sleeps or something. Not sure if it's a thermal thing, but this is even just when browsing and on work calls. I know some people use a certain program to change the voltage, and maybe that helps... But I'm not sure if it would still let me play games like Hunt Showdown without issue like overheating. Still need to properly prop it up too, so the heat vents are not blocked

Thinking about trying to sell it - if my order for a lenovo prebuilt from the other day actually ships out... but I would feel bad selling it if it might have an issue

1660ti should be priced at 700 MAX. Don't be a dumb ass buying "razer" name. You can even get a 2060 for $600 in a lot of other laptops.

Also, if you're thinking about using this for productivity, Razer laptop keyboards are pretty hard to type on IMO.

I got the 4K/2070 2020 model from Costco a while back for $1699. It's a beautiful computer that rivals the MBP in every respect except for that Windows bloat. So I simply installed Linux and guess what. It runs way faster and even the battery life is excellent.

So the issue with Razer is not the hardware but the OS. If you can avoid Windows (which in the 21st century is totally doable), you can game and even do a lot of productive work once you establish the required Linux workflows with free OSS equivalents. I've even got a Mac OS like look for my 4K Razer and it looks awesome. I'd recommend taking a look at Garuda Linux if you want to see what I'm talking about.
