AsiaHorse Via Newegg has 120mm Pc Case Fans,Asiahorse Magic-N Addressable Rgb Color Changing Led Fan with Remote Control Sync & 5V ARGB Motherboard (3-Pack black) on sale for $21.99.
AsiaHorse is a solid DISCOUNT fan. I'll cut to the chase, though:
I just removed 5, 8-month old FS-9002 AsiaHorse fans from my computer.
One blew an LED after two months, NBD. six months later and I had another two that would sound like a hair dryer on startup. Also figured no big deal until I started seeing some thermal ramping.
Chomped the bullet and just bought QL120s.
Pros:
- They are MUCH cheaper than Corsair
- They're fans. They push air. They do that well enough
- integrated nicely with my B550m's MysticLight stuffs
- Customer support is surprisingly solid. Sent me a replacement three-pack, but I'd just as soon as pull out all fans and replace them, rather than fish out only the three - because who knows how long until the remaining two go, or these three, for that matter.
Cons:
- No PWM. You can absolutely let the motherboard control the fans, but that is handled through a single 3-pin header, to a puck for all five fans, and had only a 'high,' 'medium,' or 'low' speed, and it they all came out as medium-ish
- mung all over my case. oily, sticky mung. Never had this issue with my old system that was packed full of Corsair fans. Some reviews indicated it could be oil. I have no way to comprehend what this was, but the splatter and streaking fits that.
Conclusion:
If you're just looking to get off the ground and plan on doing some fancier fans down the road, go for these. If it's a limited-use build, these are fine. If you work a dayjob AND play games on the same PC, reinvest the dosh from these into something with more reliability.
Got those in white color argb is useless and does not work with modern mobos like aura sync will not see the fans. Only controllable thru the remote which makes it kinda useless. If you r ok with remote than buy it or add extra 7 $ and go w different brand. I just hate those remote controllers.
