Took a while to find it, but these are the Made in China version. Pass.
Quite a few bad reviews in the recent past. I am happy with the LADDA batteries from IKEA. They are bit more expensive (4 for $6.99), but they are supposedly made in Japan and are very high quality.

I bought the 12pk EBL battery based on good reviews but when I actually try to use them, half of them were showing 0V. They are supposed to be LSD so I expected them to have at least 60% capacity out of the box. I charged them and after few days they show proper voltage levels. I'll have to test them more to see how they hold up. Amazon Basics AAA has been pretty good though, used on my sons toys.

Got a pack of these for free with a charger a while back. They didn't hold a charge for long & I recycled them after less than a year of use. Eneloop are great but I found these @Newegg: HiQuick 16 Pack Rechargeable Batteries AAA 1100mAh High | not as good a deal but at they last

Not seeing or getting ANY of these discounts. On the checkout page there is a 20% off box, but when I select it the final price doesn't change. I think I got these and used a coupon a while back, so I'm not qualified for another try. Oh well, I keep getting more devices that need AAA's so this would have been nice. The ones I have seem to be ok for casual use, although more for remotes and toys than flashlights.

EBL is a good brand

I have Eneloop, EBL and HiQuick brands. Of course, I don't mix them. 😁

I use them based on the type of equipment. For generic use, such as TV remotes, clocks- I use HiQuick.

Just an FYI: there were AAs listed on the front page here a couple hours ago - deal hasn't been marked dead yet.
